About Medic Tim Hayes

When Tim was 16 years old he started volunteering within the community's local Emergency Services.  He became an Emergency Medical Technician by the age of 18, and a paramedic by the age of 23.  Tim then worked with several different EMS agencies, before working with Mecklenburg EMS Agency Charlotte, NC.  In 1996 he started working with Mecklenburg EMS Agency, commonly known as MEDIC.  This is where his beloved career would end tragically.

In January 2003, while working a minor accident on a local interstate, a tractor-trailer slammed into the scene.  Tim’s legs were severed above his knees.  Tim has completely recovered and now shares his story of faith and triumph around the world.
